Westdene Nursery: A wonderful place to start your childs learning journey
We are very proud of our nursery, the enthusiastic staff and the motivating and stimulating resources we have available for our children.
Our nursery staff include a qualified class teacher and two experienced nursery nurses. Children are taught through the areas of learning defined in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and will learn through a variety of planned games and play.
The nursery classroom also has a purpose built outside area which supports the development of a healthy and active lifestyle by offering children opportunities for physical activity, freedom and movement and promotes a sense of well-being. Parents are positively encouraged to participate fully in their child’s nursery experience, as we believe parents are essential partners in a child's education.
Our nursery is an integral part of the school and nursery children often partake in our whole school events.
